I want to learn coding, and I found that through stencil you can actually observe the code itself, even add to it and it will aid in making the language work (Or be lazy and use the weird drag and drop system they have integrated). I think its a good step to have in-between complete helplessness and good coding ability. I must say that I like stencyl for providing an alternative for people who may have good game ideas, not saying I do, but I tried.
